Principles of Total Hip Replacement (THR) in Dogs, hosted by the Center for Continuing Professional Education, is an immersive two-day course combining expert-led lectures with hands-on training to reinforce surgical techniques. The course focuses on total hip replacement (THR) in canine patients.
The course will guide participants through the entire THR process, from patient selection and preoperative planning to surgical execution and postoperative care. Hands-on labs using specimens will provide participants the opportunity to gain practical experience with THR procedures under expert supervision.

Veterinarian

This course is recommended for veterinarians with advanced experience in orthopedic surgery. A background in advanced veterinary orthopedics is essential to ensure participants gain the most from the learning experience.

One technician from the practice may be registered to accompany the registered veterinarian in the course.
Resident
-
Must be a current Resident enrolled in a residency program at an accredited university.

A 25% discounted registration fee is available to a limited number of Residents. Once capacity is reached, Residents may opt to pay the regular registration fee or join a waitlist for the discounted Resident registration fee by contacting the BlueSAO USA at info@vetsurgicalsolution.com. (There is no guarantee of clearing the waitlist for the discounted Resident registration fee prior to the closing of registration for the course).
Technician

Technicians will assist in lab sessions and may attend all lectures.

Only one technician may attend with the registered veterinarian.

The technician may be registered at the same time the registration for the veterinarian is completed.
